Three Ways to Help Reach the Unreached in 2020 l Kerusomen Gospel Ministries

Three Ways You Can Help Reach the Unreached in 2020

Join our unstoppable God in 2020 in his mission to reach the unreached in India.
Our time spent with our native partner in the mission field gave us a personal view on what it's like to plant churches where there are none. The men, women, children and communities that have been and are being transformed inspire us to do more. But what's our (your) part?

1. PRAY EVERYDAY for the unreached in India.

When you read a story here remember the people you've been introduced to in your prayers. That is the first and most important way to reach the unreached. Nothing happens without prayer. And if you haven't already, please join our prayer team.

2. SHARE the story.

On our mission we met many people. Every one of them has a story worth sharing and a life precious to God. But their favorite stories were all about what God has done and is doing. Their lives have been transformed by the Gospel and they love to share it. In fact, they can't keep quiet about it. So, the second way to get involved is to share the stories and videos posted on Facebook and here on our Kerusomen site with others.

3. JOIN ONE of our giving communities.

We all know that spreading the Gospel costs money. We tithe faithfully to our local church family to share the expenses to reach the lost.

The good news is it costs even less to share The Good News in India!  Here in America, $15 won't buy you dinner and a beverage. In India, $15 provides food, medicine aid and monthly visits to outcast widows and their children for a whole month!  In our country, $50 barely pays for a nice dinner or a monthly cell phone bill (if you're lucky!). In India, it plants a new church plus provides training and support for its pastor for a whole year!

Most important:  When you give to Kerusomen, 100% - every penny of every dollar you give - goes right to the mission field. You won't pay for office rent, employee or CEO salaries. (we don't have any!) You won't pay for printing or postage stamps. You won't pay for phone or electric bills. (Board members cover those!)

Becoming a member of The Well or The Builders' communities is an easy way to know you're making a difference in reaching the unreached. Everyone who is committed to giving monthly to grow God's kingdom is welcome. You choose the amount God lays on your heart. Some give more, some give less but all give as an act of faith, worship, and obedience to His command to "Go and make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19) Thank you for stepping out in faith!

We believe that one day we will celebrate that everyone in India has access to the Gospel and a church family. We want to celebrate that day with YOU. Join us!

Exciting News from the India Mission Field l Kerusomen Gospel Ministries

More Good News from Telangana

In December Pastor Saha visited some of the Kerusomen Gospel Ministry churches in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Saha writes: "We have over 20 churches and house churches in the state of Telangana with 16 pastors and two state coordinators. The house churches will all grow as we give proper leadership and spiritual fellowship."

During this trip in Telangana, he visited eight recently planted house churches of three to five families each. A warm welcome to these 30 plus newly born family members! He also shared the baptism video taken at KBC Dammapeta Church below.

The Church is Growing Strong

The Telangana KGM Thallada Church is growing so rapidly under the leadership of Pastor Kennedy Raju that a new building is needed and under construction. Pastor Raju and his wife are pictured here at the construction site.

How God Saved Sarada l A Kerusomen Widow Rescue Story

Thanks to members of the Well community, orphaned widows like Sarada are safe and full of hope. There is great value in sending compassionate financial gifts to rescue widows in India. And you do that.

Sarada, Jomol, Tom Caprio,
Pastor Saha, Local Pastor & Widows

But one of the biggest gifts you give, as a member of Kerusomen Gospel Ministries widow rescue program, is community. Because every rescue is accomplished by indigenous pastors and believers in India.

Money for desperate women and children, whose immediate need is food and medicine, is just the first step we take to help the widows you support. But that's not enough.

Sarada and her daughert, Jomol

They need acceptance. They need God to restore their stolen identity. They need a loving community who honors and respects them. One that considers them precious and valuable.  One that willingly serves and encourages them on a regular basis. In short, a community who welcomes them into their family.

When you support a widow in India through Kerusomen, you know you are making a huge difference in their lives. Financially. Spirtually, Emotionally. Why? Because your hands and feet in India are the Church. And a church changes everything. New to Kerusomen? Learn more about the Well Widow Rescue Community.

Overcoming Barriers to Reach the Unreached in Northern India l Kerusomen Gospel Ministries

Trust in the Lord...Lean Not on Your Own Understanding

Reaching the unreached in India is more difficult in some states than others.  Many states in the northern areas, where large numbers of Hindi-speaking peoples reside, are especially hard to evangelize because anti-Christian nationalists are active there. Anti-conversion laws make it dangerous to preach the Gospel overtly within their borders. Incidents of persecution are rising and becoming increasingly violent. Pastor Saha had long been stalled in his attempts to plant churches in these states. The situation appeared to be going from bad to worse until...

God Makes a Way
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (KJV)

When God's People Can't Go North, He Attracts Seekers South

But God has made a way for Kerusomen to share the Gospel with the Hindi people groups right in the state of Kerala. where KGM has its headquarters.

Over the last decade, Kerala’s population growth has been slowing down while its economic growth is high. This has triggered a demand for outside labor to fill the ever growing job openings. Construction work is plentiful, attracting many migrant workers from the northern Hindi-speaking states such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar.  As a result:
  • An estimated 2.5 million people from outside of Kerala now call it home...

Pastor Saha's Story

Pastor Saha, founder of Kerusomen Gospel Ministries, India, recounts the beginning and rise of his native church planting movement to Tom Caprio, president of KGM, USA. Hear Saha's amazing story of God's persistent tugging on his heart, for nearly two decades, to go farther and farther beyond the borders of his home state to spread the Gospel. His call to reach tribal villages and people who had never heard the name of Jesus is inspiring to all believers who feel God's pull to step out of the boat and obey. Pastor Saha covets your prayers for the ministry. Join the Builder's Community Prayer Team.
