Happy New Year

Before we turn the last calendar page on 2022, we’re remembering how faithful God has been this year through your prayers, your partnership, and your willingness to proclaim to others your passion for this ministry. Matthew 6:21 says, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (NIV). These pictures of you over the last 12 months show clearly where your heart is: Your love for the Lord is reflected in each one. Thank you for standing with our KGM pastors and believers in India as they reach out to their people, helping them find hope in Jesus. We remain humbled and grateful for the victories the Lord is giving through you. Thank you and may God’s richest blessings be yours in 2023. Tom Caprio and the Kerusomen Board

Merry Christmas KGM Partners and Family

"Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people"
 (Luke 2:10 ESV, emphasis added).

Jesus came for all people. There’s not a soul on earth he doesn’t love—and today we want to thank you for sharing that Good News with His beloved unreached children in India. You and I are part of God's mission to make His glory known to the ends of the earth and in 2022, your prayers and partnership helped reach more Indian villages than ever before with God’s love. Bless you!

Having wonderful friends who love the Lord like you do is one of our greatest blessings.and a precious gift from God we cherish every day.

All glory to God and our love to you,

Tom Caprio and the KGM Board

Give Chickens in Jesus Name

KGM Volunteer Board Members cover all operating costs so 100% of your generous gift will bring income-producing animals directly to families in rural India. Whether you choose to join us by giving once, or monthly through Kerusomen's Fountain Community, we want you to have peace of mind about your stewardship.

Generosity and kindness are contagious – and you’re living proof! You stepped up last year and gave 500 chickens. Because you did, widow Kamala grew her flock from five to 23 and gave away 10 chickens to two struggling neighbors. She kept two roosters to continue growing her flock. Now Pastor Saha says she’s ready to give more away more offspring to other families in her village. That’s just ONE of the one hundred families who received flocks from you. Your loving example is birthing more backyard chicken businesses every day, as God continues to multiply your flocks (and your kindness!) to transform hearts and lives in India. Let’s do it again this year! The hunger crisis in India is massive. But together, we can change that.

Imagine how you would feel if you were living in abject poverty. What if your first priority - every single day - was to simply survive. You have no time or resources to improve your situation...what's the best way out?

What if I told you obtaining animals is the answer. Seem unlikely?  India's government considers it one of the best ways for poor families in rural areas to lift themselves out of poverty.

Here's what these animals provide:

Entire families can sustain themselves with the meat, nutrient-rich milk, or high-protein eggs that goats and chickens provide.

As the animals reproduce, families can sell the leftover milk, eggs, cheese, and butter. And when the flocks and herds flourish, the kids and chicks can be quickly sold for even more cash.

  • Family members incapacitated by disease can become productive again
  • Children can go to school
  • Better healthcare and medicine are more affordable
  • Families can consider improving their living conditions and dwellings
  • The miserable cycle of poverty ends and a new cycle of prosperity begins for future generations

Families must show they are serious about providing a sustainable food supply and/or extra income for themselves and their children. In order to show their interest, they contribute their own money to feed and build shelter for the animals. Women and widows, who are the head of their households, can also attend training classes that teach them to manage money and achieve basic business skills.

Each family agrees to give first-born animals to help another needy family in their village and welcome regular visits from KGM pastors to check on the family’s progress towards self-sufficiency. This ensures that the Gifts of Hope program will have lasting results.

Thank you for changing my life

We want you to have peace of mind about your stewardship. Whether you choose to join us by giving once, or monthly, KGM Volunteer Board Members cover all operating costs so 100% of your generous gift will bring income producing animals directly to downtrodden families in India.

"Thank you for changing my life."

Ancy and her widowed mother live in Kerala, India. KGM Pastor Simon says Ancy and her mother are "the poorest of the poor" struggling to make ends meet on less than $2.00 a day.
All of Ancy's life she has known poverty, for she and her family belong to one of the most underprivileged people groups in the area. As Nadars, Ancy is classified among the "other backward classes." Socially and educationally disadvantaged and often discriminated against, many Nadar remain trapped in misery for generations. With few opportunities and no dowry to attract a good husband, it looked like Ancy's future would be no different until the gift of a female goat changed everything.

Ancy knew that raising goats could help her and her mother do more than just survive, they could actually help them get ahead. For ten months she carefully tended to the animal's needs and last month her efforts paid off: Ancy's goat had triplets! Two females and one male. The mother goat produces plenty of milk for Ancy's family and the extra she sells for income.  Ancy plans to keep the male kid for breeding and growing her flock.

To Ancy, these goats are not only pets she loves, they are a gift from God and with hard work, a lifeline out of poverty.  To share her blessing, in a month she will return not one, but both female kids to KGM India and Pastor Simon will give them to two more impoverished families.

In just 10 months your gift of one goat is changing the lives of three families in Ancy's village. And that's not all. With a 150-day reproduction cycle, a single female goat can produce seven to nine goats in just two years! Soon Ancy's offspring will give birth and more kids will return to Kerusomen amd more lives will be blessed. Now multiply that by the 135 goats you gave to other families and you begin to get a glimpse of the huge impact your gifts of love are already making.

Thank you for caring for these hard-working widows and families like Ancy's in India. Bless you for empowering our KGM pastors to lighten their financial burden and give them hope of a future.

Best Christmas Gift Ever

If your heart breaks for the poor...
If you want to give children a better future...
If you want to bring comfort to widows and orphans...
If you want to see downtrodden women become
a postive force for good in their community...
If your heart's desire is to transform lives in Jesus name...

That's right - a G-O-A-T!

Can a goat really empower downtrodden families? You bet it can. And in the poorest, rural areas of India, they already are. They’re a valuable, reliable source of income since they’re in demand for food and that makes them easy to sell at market. In fact, goats are nicknamed “ATM” because they offer Indian families a steady stream of ready cash. And a goat in the hands of India pastors can transform entire communities.

For Pastor Jayapaul, a goat means MORE TIME to serve India’s homeless with food and the love of Christ. In the economy-crushing aftermath of Covid-19, many KGM pastors are now jobless. Like Pastor Jayapaul, they receive no salary, trusting God to provide the work they need to care for their families. That's why your gift of a goat makes a huge difference.

Your gift of any amount* will help purchase 70 income-producing female goats. That means more food and extra income for families struggling to lift themselves out of poverty. And that includes pastors' families, so these missionaries can devote more time to God’s calling.

Let’s pray for them, let’s proclaim God’s mighty works through their stories, and let’s be God’s answer to their prayers by equipping them with an income-producing goat right now:

We want you to have peace of mind about your stewardship. Whether you choose to join us by giving once, or monthly, KGM Volunteer Board Members cover all operating costs so 100% of your generous gift will bring income producing animals directly to vulnerable families in India.

In September KGM India held statewide trainings for men and women Bible Storytellers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This fruitful ministry is equipping pastors and believers to take the Gospel Story where it's never gone before - to the semi-illiterate and oral tribal cultures in India.

We’ve heard some poignant stories. There was a child who understood Jesus loved him when he heard the story of the leper whom Jesus healed. The boy's ears perked up when he heard the leper was alone and despised by society. When he heard him called "untouchable," he leaned in closer so he wouldn't miss a word of the tale. During question time, the storyteller learned that the child had been bullied by others because he was of the Dalit caste (formerly called untouchables.) A simple story, told in a way he could understand, touched the boy's heart with the love he had longed for all his life: he met Jesus.

Mission field stories like these, of changed lives, drive us to Pray, Partner and Proclaim God's mighty works and love for oral tribal cultures and the illiterate in India even more this year.

The excitement India’s believers have for the story scarves is spreading and the Gospel impact Kingdom investors like you are making with this inexpensive tool is immense.

Let's stand with KGM's trained Bible Storytellers who are right now locating suffering families in India that need to hear the story of our HOPE.

Your gift of any amount* will purchase as many Bible Story Scarves as possible to equip India's Storytellers to reach the lost in their villages.

Share KGM's New Hope opportunity with your friends and family! Forward our posts on Facebook and spread the word. Most important, keep us in your thoughts and prayers throughout the year.

100% - every penny - of your gift goes to purchase Bible Story Scarves for the mission field.

We want you to have peace of mind about your stewardship. Whether you choose to join us by giving once, or monthly, KGM Volunteer Board Members cover all operating costs so 100% of your generous gift will bring Bible Storyscarves directly to trained storytellers in India.

God Bless You

Rejoicing in the Lord because of you!

Through your generous support and God’s grace, we exceeded the $2,000 Matching Funds in the FIRST 25 HOURS of Match Week. Praise God!

And that’s not all…because of your quick and cheerful giving, God sent ANOTHER Matching Fund donor who matched the rest of Match Week gifts so every penny you gave during Match Week DOUBLED. Together, you helped up to 345 MORE families experience the Lord’s love and abundance as they use their gifts to transform their own and others’ lives, physically and spiritually.

No matter how you participated in #GivingTuesday – by praying, by partnering, or by proclaiming this ministry to others – it’s an incredible honor to serve the Lord with you.

“Give thanks to the God of heaven, His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:26
