Your Compassion in Action l Kerusomen India Food Relief
KGM Churches in India are sharing the love of God in tangible ways every day and we’re standing by them through our prayers and generosity.
Together we've launched four ongoing projects that provide:
- Prayer support for KGM Pastors with our "Pray for 90 Days" ministry that links partners here with a particular KGM Pastor in prayer;
- Income-generating gifts in the form of chickens and goats to help downtrodden families, widows, and children;
- ISOS Transformation Group small business income and savings training to help destitute widows and women become self-supporting; and
- Since the pandemic began, KGM partners, through KGM churches, have supplied tens of thousands of meals to starving villagers of all faiths in India.
India’s “second deadly-wave” this summer has spurred KGM pastors into action again. They are delivering food to the sick, the needy, and the isolated widows on a regular basis.
Many thanks to our partners who have continued to support KGM’s food crisis fund. You enable us to respond quickly and demonstrate Christ’s love in action.
“Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth” John 3:18
And that's what we love about YOU, KGM partners. You don't just talk about God's love, you show it! Thank you.

God Expands KGM Into 7th State l Kerusomen Gospel Ministries
Despite Covid-19 and an uptick in persecution, God is still growing His church. In July 2021, two KGM native pastors planted two new churches and Kerusomen expanded into its 7th state in India, Madhya Pradesh. Another two pastors in that state are being trained as church planters so when they complete their required education, we will hopefully have another 2 churches in Madhya Pradesh.
On this 7-year anniversary of the founding of Kerusomen Gospel Ministries, Tom Caprio, President of KGM USA, tells his story of how and why God birthed this amazing church planting movement to reach the unreached in India:
"When I went to seminary 40 years ago, missions was the furthest thing from my mind.
Now, a friendly piece of advice… Don’t ever tell God you don’t want to do something because He might just call you to do it - for His glory and your growth!
Well, in 2004, in order to thank God for 25 years of marriage, Kathy and I went on a mission trip to India. It was on that trip that I met Sahayadas Simon, a graduate student at the Hindustan Bible Institute in Chennai, India, the same place that tradition says the Apostle Thomas once planted a church before being martyred in India.
That trip planted the seeds of a calling in my life that I could compare to the Apostle Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus. On that trip – seeing God at work up-close in other lands – was like walking right into the book of Acts. God’s Word came alive in fresh new ways and in time I knew God was calling me to have a passion for India and continue the work the Apostle Thomas started almost 2,000 years ago.
Prayer is our foundation.
Nothing happens without it.
Thank you for praying with us for the last 7 years."

KGM Board Member Maureen Barber l Rejoicing in God's Solution for Widows
We’re so inspired by our KGM USA community. In honor of International Widows Day we’re saluting Maureen Barber, one of three widows who serve on our volunteer KGM Board. Maureen devotes an enormous amount of time, talent, and resources as an advocate for widows here by donating her time as a GriefShare facilitator and in India by donating her treasure monthly to help an abandoned widow. Maureen is a beautiful example of how God brings beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3) in the lives of widows. He welcomes them into a new community - His church family – and offers them a hope that lasts. God's church, His people, are His solution. They are the ambassadors He sends in answer to the global widow crisis. It's not a momentary social solution. It's a relationship of LOVE. And that changes EVERYTHING. Maureen models that abiding love for widows here and it stretches all the way to widows in India.
