PRAYER FOR WOMEN FARMERS / 2026 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

This Sunday is not only International Women’s Day but also marks the UN’s Year of the Woman Farmer and we’re delighted to honor these incredible women in India who grow nearly 60% of the food in their country!

In Kerusomen Gospel Ministries 150 churches (mostly in rural areas), there are thousands of women and widow farmers who raise, process, and market food for their families and communities. Many participate in KGM’s livestock ministry that helps those less fortunate get started in farming goats or chickens. Though often undervalued, in their families, on the farms, and as faithful followers of Christ, these women make a difference every day and create lasting change. Let’s pray.

Lord, we praise You for all Your works and Your provision of our daily bread. Thank you, God! We pray Your blessings on the women farmers in India and ask Your protection for them. We pray for Your wisdom in their work, Your strength during times of difficulty, and Your hope for a future where their labor is honored. We thank You for them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
