Kerusomen Kids Zone VBS is a Huge Success
"We Are Not Tired!" says Kerusomen Foundation founder, Sahayadas Simon as he explains that sometimes Christian kids in India face humiliation, mockery, and discouragement for inviting the neighbor kids to VBS.
Check out this Video Interview with VBS Department.
85 Kids Attended VBS in the State of Kerala Alone.
And VBS is held in all the Kerusomen founded churches throughout 6 different States in India...
VBS took place in India from April 2-6, 2019.
The kids who attend come from Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Christian, and secular homes.
All are welcomed
All are accepted.
All are valued.
And, for 20 short hours these kids get to enjoy the freedom of simply being "kids".
Vacation Bible School is fun and educational. The kids get healthy food snacks and take part in exciting activities like action songs, drama skits, dances, and moral stories from the Bible.
But even more important: VBS is the first time many of these kids will hear the name of Jesus.
During VBS, they will sing songs about Jesus and make new Christian friends. And when they return home, they share what they've learned with their family and friends.
In fact,on the last day of VBS, the children participate in a procession that winds throughout the streets of their villages holding signs that proclaim the name and Gospel of Jesus. It is always a highlight of the week long VBS celebration.
The members of the Kerusomen VBS Department are very grateful for your prayers and the gifts you give that make all this possible for so many kids each year.
