Bible Clubs-4-Kids was the inspiration of two KGM leaders and school teachers, Sajan and Mangat, who work in the state of Punjab. They were concerned about the increase of drugs pouring over the Pakistan /Punjab border. Similar to the southern border here, children there are dying from drug abuse.
Sajan and Mangat wanted to create a safe place for the children to come to after school; a place that would teach them Godly values. So, they wrote a syllabus for the entire school year and Bible Clubs-4-Kids was born. Now, the curriculum is being translated into other native Indian dialects so all our KGM churches can use it.
Bible Club Facts:
- Meet one to two times weekly after school;
- Classes for all ages;
- All clubs offer sports activities, arts and crafts, health and hygiene instruction, Bible stories, action songs, and teach Godly values;
- Some Clubs offer English Communication tutoring;
- A safe place to do homework, play, and learn about Jesus.
$120 gift opens one new Bible Club that will reach 20 children;
$ 40 gift supplies one Bible Club with art and writing supplies;
$ 80 gift equips one Bible Club with soccer, badmitton, cricket bats, jump ropes, and other sports equipment;
$ 25 gift sends one child to Bible Club for an entire year!
