Video testimony from Anju regarding the healing of the Saha family.

November 9, 2020

About a week ago, Saha, his wife, Anju, and two daughters tested positive for Covid-19. This was particularly significant news for Anju, who had contracted Dengue Fever a few years ago and was left with a compromised immune system. Anju’s condition worsened and she was hospitalized with a high fever and unrelenting cough. The rest of the family remained quarantined at home trusting that God would restore the family to health.

After a few days in the hospital Anju developed pneumonia, tired and weary from the consistent coughing. Family, friends, pastors, supporters and the Kerusomen board continued to pray, asking Him to heal the family. In the meantime, God lay Saha and his family on the heart of a friend of the family here in the United States...

The U.S. couple felt a strong pull on their heart from the LORD to provide financial help to cover Anju’s hospital visit as India’s hospitals are run on a cash basis. This was a great provision from the Lord and encouragement to Saha and his family. Praise the Lord for the obedience of this couple.

We have received word that Anju’s fever is gone, the pneumonia has subsided, she is now out of the hospital and has tested negative for Covid-19. Praise God for answered prayer and His unfailing love towards this family.

 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

Notes from Pastor Saha:

"Auto rickshaw driver families are struggling.  Ali, is not able to feed the family and pay his monthly loan (for the taxi). We assured his food provision for him, his wife, and three children. We are trying to get a job for him to pay his loan."

"Same struggle with Rajan who supports his sick  wife and 6 family members. His vehicle loan payment is heaping up; no business so no paying. His house will be broken anytime due to rain. It is a muddy house. KGM is doing her best to monthly food to these people on a regular basis, thanks to KGM USA."

Pastor Saha is pictured visiting Rajan in his muddy house. He explained that the walls are caving in because the cement roof is too heavy for the foundation. Tarps cover openings but clothing still gets wet and is hanging outside under a tarp to dry.

Baptisms continue - even in pandemic lockdown. Pastor Saha reports believers are struggling.

 "Those who are working in public transport and taxi services are not able to afford food since things are locked down. We are meeting some of their needs.

We are also caring for people who work in cashew nut (and other) factories who are not able to go to work due to (pandemic) restrictions.

Other believers work in marriage arrangements like putting up tents for events are suffering without jobs for the last four months. We are taking care of them."
